North Carolina Is Hosting Brown To Closeout Their Two Game Home Stand In Chapel Hill Tonight Before They Head To Charleston South Carolina For Game Verses College Of Charleston On Tuesday
North Carolina who this is ranked 19th in the AP Top 25 poll the first week of the regular season is closing out their three game home stand in Chapel Hill tonight that has included one exhibition game on Friday November 5, 2021, two regular season games their regular season opener verses Loyola Of Maryland and tonight’s game verses Brown before they hed to Charleston South Carolina for game verses the College Of Charleston on Tuesday November 16, 2021.
North Carolina comes into the game with a record of 1-0 because they opened up the regular season with an 83-67 win over Loyola Of Maryland!

In Brown’s win over Salve Regina Senior captain David Mitchell led the Bears with 13 points on four-of-six shooting. Paxson Wojcik had 12 points in his first game as a Bear. All 12 came from beyond the arc for the junior who also picked up five rebounds and three assists. Jaylan Gainey had a team-high seven rebounds and Kino Lilly Jr. led the way with six assists and three steals. Dan Friday also had three steals.

The Seahawks hung even with the Bears to start the second half, but four points from Nana Owusu-Anane and two from Perry Cowan stretched the lead to 30 with 13:16 remaining in the game. The teams traded buckets for the remainder of the contest, with Brown pushing the lead to 37 after a Mitchell layup at the 6:17 mark. Salve Regina would get it back to 30 but that's where it would stay. Seventeen players saw action for the Bears in their first game in 611 days. Wojcik led all newcomers with 22:13 minutes, followed by Lilly's 17:20 and Owusu-Anane's 16:20
