As NC State defeated Boise State 81-70 Tuesday in Southwest Invitational Terrance Arceneaux, Vin -Allen Lubin who transferred to NC State from North Carolina , Paul McNeil scored in double figures.

Terrance Arceneaux was 4-5 on field goals , 1-1 on 3 pointers , 2-3 on free throws to go along with four rebounds , 2 assists , 3 steals, 2 blocks to go along with 11 points. Vin-Allen Lubin was 4-8 on field goals , 0-1 on 3 pointers to go along with 12 rebounds , 1 steal. Paul McNeil Jr. was 3-8 on field goals , 2-5 on 3 pointers , 2-2 on free throws to go along with 2 rebounds, 10 points.

As as team in NC State’s win over Boise State they were 24-54 for 50% on field goals , 9-21 on 3 pointers for 43 %

Texas comes into 5th place game in Maui Jim Maui Invitational with record of 5-2 because they beat beat Chaminade on Tuesday 119-78 where five players scored in double figures. Matas Vokietaties who is a sophomore a center was 7-7 on field goals, 2-3 on free throws to go along with 9 rebounds , 3 blocks. Jordan Pope who is a guard a senior was 6-9 on field goals , 3-5 on 3 pointers to go along 2 rebounds, 8 assists. Dalyn Swain who is a guard a junior was 8-11 on field goals , 0-1 on 3 pointers , 2-2 on free throws to go along with 9 rebounds , 4 assists, 3 steals . Tramon Mark who is a guard a senior was 7-13 on field goals , 4-7 on 3 pointers to go along with 6 rebounds, 6 assists to go along with 19 points.

Following 119-78 win over Chaminade in Maui Invitational Head Coach Sean Miller noted the Texas Longhorns dominate performance particularly in the paint on the boards but also expressed concerns about his teams 12 turnovers in the first half.

Kanoa Leahey has been a men’s college basketball play-by-play commentator and reporter for ESPN since 2013.

He also hosts a two-hour weekday talk show, “Let’s Talk Sports With Kanoa Leahey & Jordan Helle,” which airs on Maui’s ESPN 900 AM. Prior to that, he had a television sports talk show with his father, Jim, “Leahey & Leahey,” which was on PBS in Hawaii for nine years. The third-generation sportscaster has followed the footsteps of his father and grandfather as the play-by-play voice of the University of Hawaii sports. He is also the former sports director and anchor at KHON2.

The Honolulu native graduated from the Iolani School before taking his first job as a sports reporter at KITV, Honolulu’s ABC affiliate. Leahey was recognized in March 2015 during a proclamation with three other fellow employees for ESPN’s outstanding contribution to the state of Hawaii for ESPN Events creation of the Diamond Head Classic and Hawaii Bowl.

Sean Farnham joined ESPN in 2010 as a college basketball analyst. He works as both a game and studio analyst, and contributes to SportsCenter and other ESPN shows regularly.

In 2008, Farnham began working for CBS College Sports as a basketball analyst covering the Mountain West Conference, Atlantic-10 and Conference USA.

Farnham co-hosted the afternoon drive show with Chris Meyers on Fox Sports Radio. He originally began with the network in 2004 as their lead college basketball analyst and weekend host. Farnham started his radio career in 2003 with ESPN 710 Los Angeles, where he hosted postgame shows on the Lakers, UCLA and USC and also filled in on weekday programming.

Starting in the fall of 2001 Farnham worked at Fox Sports Net/West covering everything from the Pac-10, Big West and WCC basketball, as well as NBA, MLB and college football. During his ten year run at Fox Sports Net, he won two Los Angeles based Emmy’s.

After graduating from UCLA, Farnham was an assistant coach at Pepperdine University under the guidance of Jan van Breda Kolff. The Waves finished with a 22-9 record and advanced to the NIT second round.

Farnham was a student-athlete at UCLA where he was a freshman on the 1997 Pac-10 Championship team that advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight. He was named UCLA’s Freshman of the Year in 1997, Most Improved Player in 1999 and was the 1999-2000 co-captain with Earl Watson. In his final two seasons at UCLA, the Bruins were 16-2 in games Farnham started (14-0 in the regular season, both losses came in the NCAA Championship). Farnham was also the Chairman of the Bruins Athletic Council, and represented UCLA at the Pac-10 leadership forum both of his final two years on campus.

Farnham graduated from UCLA in 2000 with a bachelors degree in history. He played high school basketball at De La Salle, the same high school as ESPN’s NBA analyst Jon Barry, in Concord, Calif. Farnham was the first to lead the Spartans to the California State Championship.

During the summer of 2011 Farnham developed a non-profit charity, Hoops from Home, which provides basketball camps and academic scholarships to service member’s children.
