Following Isaiah Evans hitting three pointer to help Duke prevail 67-66 over Florida Tuesday night in ACC/ SEC Challenge sophomore guard Isaiah Evans shared his thoughts by saying A lot of our plays are read and react,so there’s a lot of like, second, third, fourth options out of those plays. But obviously I was one of those options. So you know, it’s gonna be hard to guard me and Cam and pick and roll situation. Obviously, with my shooting and his attacking.”

Following Isaiah Evans hitting three pointer to help Duke prevail 67-66 over Florida Tuesday night in ACC/ SEC Challenge Duke Head Coach Jon Scheyer shared his thoughts by saying At the end of the day,”“I think it shows there’s a mental toughness to this group, just to find ways to win. You know, Arkansas was a close game, obviously, Kansas down the stretch, and tonight, I think it says a lot about the character, a lot about the toughness.”

You always have to learn,”That’s why we did the schedule. But if we can, let’s learn through winning, and you just have to have that humility and understand that winning can make you soft. You know, winning can make you soft. And I think our guys have done a great job of continuing to figure out how to get better.”

Though,

4th ranked Duke isn’t the only team that is unbeaten as 8th ranked Michigan State is as well because they’ve won every game they’ve played as well because they have a record of 8-0 because they beat Iowa on Tuesday night in East Lansing where three players scored in double figures Jaxon Kohler who is a forward a senior was 5-12 on field goals , 0-2 on 3 pointers , 2-2 on free throws to go along with 11 rebounds , 1 assists, 2 blocks 7 rebounds. Coen Carr who is a forward a junior was 5-8 on field goals , 0-1 on 3 pointers , 5-5 on free throws to go along with 5 rebounds, 1 assists 15 points. Jeremy Fears Jr. who is a guard a sophomore was 2-6 on field goals , 0-2 on 3 pointers , 10-10 on free throws to go along with 1 rebound, 6 assists , 14 points.

Following Michigan State 71-52 win over Iowa in East Lansing on Tuesday night Michigan State Head Coach Tom Izzo shared his thoughts on his team on Iowa by saying I've really been proud of my team tonight. I thought we played a top-25 team, I thought physically they beat the hell out of us the first six or seven minutes. I thought our assistants did a great job of saying what they were gonna do, slapping balls loose. They play hard, boy. They warm up hard. I was very impressed with that. Let's be honest about it: (Bennett) Stirtz had probably his worst game in a while. I think Jeremy and we deserve some credit, we don't deserve all the credit because he missed some free throws – he's probably never missed that many free throws in a game.We feel fortunate to win the game, but we won it the way that we had to win it. We bounced back, got a little tougher, we out-rebounded them by almost 20. I thought we defended really, really well. The ball-screen defense, they're really good at it, and I thought we did a great job. We said free throws were gonna be important, we got to the line and we converted. So if you rebound, you run pretty good, that takes care of a lot of things.

"And yet, we still turned it over a little bit too much and didn't really shoot it that well from the 3. We've still got some issues at the 2 we're trying to work through. The reason Cam Ward didn't play, he sprained his wrist in the last game. We just didn't think we should put him out there tonight, but that was a worry, too. Give Jesse McCulloch credit, because Coop struggled a little bit tonight, too, and he's been really good for us, still did some good things. But, five turnovers, had the ball knocked loose, missed a couple layups. Not maybe his best game, but he's been really good for us.

"What a day. You win a big game, you win your home opener in the conference and our football coach is on board and got to be here with our fans. So, hopefully things keep getting better. It's a big week."

What's impressed me the most is the connectivity, the camaraderie. It's not phony, it's special. Carson can play not his greatest game tonight and I still love him because of what he's done for our younger guys. It's been unbelievable, how he handles the locker room and things, what he's done for Jesse and Cam has been phenomenal. I think Jeremy is really coming into his own, that's impressed me. He's just become a better all-around player. All-around doesn't mean he's shooting better, defending better, passing better, but it means he's leading better. Good teams need a great leader. Boy, I was more impressed with how he led and how he was – I'm a big timeout guy. Ever since Draymond was with me, I never got to say anything in timeouts, and now that he's not here, I get to talk in those timeouts, and now Jeremy's talking. I realized, man, if I let Draymond and Jeremy and everybody else talk, it's an easier job. So I'm really proud of him for that and really pleased.

"I'm disappointed, yet, with our shooting in general. We shot 50%, but I don't think we're shooting the ball well enough. We need more consistency at the 2. And that's not all their fault – they're all new guys, they're all guys that haven't played any minutes here. So I gotta do a better job, and they gotta do a better job. But some of that falls on me, too. So I'm gonna try to do that now.

"We get through this week, and then we get finals, which means you get a little time. It's been an incredible month of basketball for us as far as not only travel but the teams we've played, how it's gone. We need a little practice time to get better. I gotta do a better job with those guys. That's on me."

Though,

Unfortunately one team is going to sustain their first loss of the season!

Which team is it going to be?

Tip -Off is set for 12:00pm from Bresllin Center!

The game is going to be televised on Fox with Tim Brando, Jim Jackson commentating!

One of the most recognizable voices in college sports, Tim Brando joined FOX Sports in 2014 as a play-by-play announcer for the network’s college football and college basketball coverage. He remains on the call for college football on FOX and FS1 alongside analyst Spencer Tillman. When the calendar turns from fall to winter, Brando takes his microphone to the college basketball court for FOX Sports.

Brando has called a variety of sports throughout his prolific career, including college football and basketball, MLB, NBA and golf, and was one of the most prominent voices of the NCAA Tournament beginning in 1996.

Before coming to FOX Sports, Brando spent 18 years with CBS Sports as studio host of its "College Football Today" and "At The Half" studio shows. He also handled play-by-play duties for CBS’s coverage of SEC college football and for the NFL on CBS (1998-02). Prior to joining CBS, Brando spent eight years at ESPN, where he called play-by-play for more than 25 sports and served as studio host of "SportsCenter," the network’s halftime show (1986-94) and its coverage of the NCAA Tournament (1987-90). From 1994-96, he covered the NBA for TNT, including playoffs as a play-by-play announcer and studio host. He also called Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Hawks games for SportsSouth. From 1995-2001, Brando was the preseason voice of the Carolina Panthers and currently fills the same role for the New Orleans Saints.

From 2001-15, Brando hosted the immensely popular radio program, "Tim Brando Show," which developed into one of, if not the most, respected college sports show in the country. It originally debuted as a nationally syndicated sports talk radio show before being simulcast by CBS Sports Network in 2011, and launching on SiriusXM in 2013.

On the links, he hosted digital coverage for CBS’s presentation of the Masters from 2012 to 2013 and served as the lead television announcer for the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf Champions Tour event on CBS in 2012.

Brando was named the winner of the prestigious Lindsey Nelson Award in 2014, a national honor given annually to a college football broadcaster. In 2009, he was awarded the coveted Jake Wade Award, given annually by the College Sports Information Directors Association of America (CoSIDA) to a national media member for outstanding promotion of intercollegiate athletics. In 2018, Brando received the Richard M. Uray-Alpha Epsilon Rho Award for Lifetime Achievement, presented by the National Broadcasting Society-Alpha Epsilon Rho.

Brando was born in and resides in Shreveport, La., with wife Terri. The couple has two daughters, Tiffany and Tara, and granddaughter Wilma Scarlett (Tara) and grandson Spencer (Tiffany), named after Brando’s colleague and close friend, Spencer Tillman.  Brando earned a bachelor’s degree in radio/television management from Northeast Louisiana University (now the University of Louisiana-Monroe). His father, Hub Brando, was an announcer at KCIJ in Shreveport.Jim Jackson is a college basketball game and studio analyst and NBA studio analyst for FOX Sports. Jackson also called action for FOX Sports' coverage of the BIG3, and contributes to FOX Sports’ studio coverage of college and professional hoops. Jackson’s national television broadcast career began in 2007 with Big Ten Network, the channel’s inaugural year on the air, where he regularly appeared on shows including BTN BASKETBALL & BEYOND, BTN TIP-OFF SHOW, BTN FINALE and BTN BASKETBALL REPORT.

Jackson attended Ohio State where he was a two-time All-American, two-time Big Ten Player of the Year and named National Player of the Year by United Press International in 1992.
