Roxy Bernstein joined ESPN as a play-by-play commentator for men’s college basketball in 2011, and since has added college football, women’s college basketball, college baseball and NHL to his growing list of responsibilities. He can also be heard on ESPN Radio calling bowl games and MLB.

Bernstein also works for the Pac-12 Network, doing play-by-play for basketball, football and baseball telecasts. From 1997 through 2014, he was the voice of the Cal Golden Bears basketball team, which is also his alma mater. Bernstein also does national college football play-by-play on the Touchdown Radio Network alongside 1992 Heisman Trophy winner Gino Torretta.

Bernstein regularly broadcasts for the Oakland Athletics, is a talk show host for KGMZ 95.7 FM The Game in San Francisco and also has years of play-by-play experience for the Miami Marlins, San Francisco Giants and San Jose Sharks.

The San Francisco Bay Area native graduated from University of California, Berkeley in 1996 with a degree in American Studies, just one year before taking over as the broadcast voice on the IMG Sports/Cal Basketball Radio Network.

Miles Simon originally joined ESPN in 2010 as a college basketball analyst through 2017. He rejoined ESPN ahead of the 2025-26 college basketball season, where he primarily calls Big 12 games across ESPN networks.

Prior to working television, Simon joined his former collegiate coach Lute Olson on the Arizona coaching staff from 2005-2008. After his first ESPN stint, Simon joined the professional coaching ranks, working as an assistant for the Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat.

Simon played guard at the University of Arizona, where he won the 1997 NCAA National Championship and was named the tournament MVP. Following that season, Simon was named a consensus all-American including being named a John R. Wooden Award First Team All-American.

After his collegiate playing career, Simon was the 42nd pick in the 1998 NBA Draft and had a brief stint with the Orlando Magic. Simon spent the next seasons playing professionally in the NBA, CBA and Europe. During this time, Simon received awards such as Italian League MVP (2001) and CBA MVP, Newcomer of the Year and Playoff MVP (2002).

Simon graduated from Arizona in 2005, after several years of playing professionally, graduating with a degree in family studies. He is a member of Arizona’s and the Pac-10 Halls of Fame in 2005 and 2008, respectively.

A native of Southern California, Simon attended Mater Dei High School, where he played for legendary coach Gary McKnight.
