Following NC State winning the only match up with Boston College 79-71 Tuesday night in Chestnut Hill Massachusetts NC State Head Coach Will Wade shared his thoughts on how his team defensively played in second half by saying In the second half, the defense is away from our bench, so the as a staff, we can’t communicate as much,”

The first half wasn’t perfect, but it was a little bit better than that, so we’ve got to be able to lift our communication with the defense. I thought our guys did communicate pretty well for the game. I thought we had pretty good energy, thought we had good juice to us, especially in a different environment than usual in the ACC. That presents some different challenges, but really we just gotta lift our communication. We have to improve that.”
