NC State Sustained 90-61 Loss To Virginia Tuesday Night In Charlottesville Because Their Offense, Shooting Was Horrific

Some nights the basketball will go through the hoop while on other nights it won’t go through the hoop!

Tuesday night the basketball didn’t go through the hoop for NC State because as a team NC State was 20-68 for 29 % on field goals were 9-33 for 27 % on 3 pointers.

Three players scored in double figures!

Those players were Darrion Williams who is a senior who is a forward who was 5-12 on field goals , 3 -6 on 3 pointers to go along with 2 rebounds, 3 assists 14 points . Ven-Allen Lubin who is a transfer from NC State’s tobacco road rival North Carolina who was 4-10 on field to go along 7 rebounds, 1 assists , 11 points. Paul McNeil Jr. who is a sophomore who is a guard was 6-16 on field goals , 3-12 on 3 pointers to go along 6 rebounds , 1 assists, 22 points .

Following NC State’s offense, shooting being horrific NC State Head Coach Will Wade shared his thoughts by saying his thoughts about Virginia by saying They were playing volleyball at the basket,” Virginia can go to the Final Four. They’re a good team,“And they steamrolled us. They’re better than we are. If we played them 10 times, I’m not sure we can beat them. Maybe once — get lucky on a neutral court — but they’re just flat better than us.
