In the 3rd quarter wide receiver KK Smith caught pass from quarterback CJ Carr extending Notre Dame’s 17-7 lead before extending the lead 24-7 as wide receiver Will Pauling caught 12 yard pass for touchdown, Noah Burnette kicked, made extra point extending Notre Dame’s lead 27-7 in 4th quarter Noah Burnette kicked, made 34 yard field goal before scoring a safety extending their lead over NC State yet again this time 29-7 before scoring 1 yard run, Erik Schmidt kicked, made extra point.
While Notre Dame was scoring the rest of the way CJ Bailey was throwing three interceptions!
