However, on Saturday NC State is returning to action is returning to gridiron following bye week is opposing Miami Saturday afternoon in Miami Gardens Florida.

NC State comes into the game with Miami with record 5-4 overall 2-3 in the Atlantic Coast Conference is eleventh in the standings though on Saturday November 1, 2025 NC State handed Georgia Tech its first loss of the season its first loss in Atlantic Coast Conference play!

Byrne caught 2 yard pass for a touchdown from Haynes King, Aiden Burr kicked, made extra point putting Georgia Tech ahead of NC State 17-14 before NC State responded with a touchdown, Kanoah Vinesett extra point putting NC State ahead 21-17 before Kanoah Vinesett kicked, made 34 yard field goal extending NC State ‘s lead over Georgia Tech 24-17 . In the 3rd quarter Aiden Burr kicked, made 23 yard field goal getting Georgia Tech with 24-20 before NC State would extend their lead with touchdown 31-20 on quarterback Will Wilson 1 yard run, Kanoah Vinesett would kick, make extra point extending NC State’s lead over Georgia Tech 31-20 before Georgia Tech would respond with Aiden Burr 29 yard field goal extending NC State’s 31-23 before wide receiver Teddy Hoffmann would catch 55 yard pass from CJ Bailey , Kanoah Vinesett would kick, make extra point extending NC State’s lead over Georgia Tech 38-23 before Georgia Tech would respond with touchdown as Haynes King would run for 3 yards , Aiden Burr would kicked, make extra point getting Georgia Tech within 38-30 . In 4th quarter NC State running back Jayden Scott would run 30 yards for touchdown , Kanoah Vinesett would kick, make extra point extending NC State’s lead over Georgia Tech 48-30 before Georgia Tech Zion Taylor would catch 16 yard pass before the the two point conversion from Haynes King would fail.

In 2nd quarter quarterback Carson Beck caught 14 yard pass from Wide Receiver Malachi Tony Carter Davis kicked, made extra point giving Miami 7-0 lead before Miami extended their lead on Syracuse as defensive back Keonte Scott had a 38 yard interception for touchdown, Carter Davis kicked, made extra point extending Miami’s lead over Syracuse 14-0 before Syracuse finally got on scoreboard with Tripp Woody’s 38 yard field goal in 3rd quarter before Miami would go on to extend their lead again this time via 21-3 , 28-3 , 31-3 with pair of touchdowns a field goal as wide receiver Keelan Marian would catch 61 yard pass from quarterback Carson Beck Carter Davis would kick, make extra point before Girard Pringle Jr. who is running back would run for 19 yard touchdown before Carter Davis would kick, make extra point before Carter Davis would extend Miami’s lead with field goal. In 4th quarter each team would score a touchdown as Miami offensive lineman would run for 3 yard touchdown, Bert Auburn would kick, make extra point before Syracuse tight Elijah Washington- Baker would catch 17 yard pass from quarterback Joseph Fillard, Tripp Woody would kick, make extra point.

Mark Jones has worked a wide variety of assignments for ESPN since his debut in 1990. He is a play-by-play commentator for ESPN’s NBA, college football and UFL coverage. His previous assignments include the WNBA, NBA Finals, and men’s and women’s college basketball.

Jones hosted the network’s SportsCenter coverage of the NBA Finals from 1991-96 and 2007-10 and called play-by-play for the 2011 NBA Finals for ESPN 3D.  He has also hosted ESPN’s coverage of NBA All-Star events, the NBA Draft Lottery, and has contributed to the network’s NBA Draft coverage. Jones previously hosted ESPN’s NBA Today and on occasion served as an anchor/reporter on SportsCenter.

Jones has been assigned to events airing on ABC since August 1990 with duties including college football, college basketball, the World League and various events on ABC’s Wide World of Sports.  He called the World Track and Field Championships from Stuttgart, Germany, in 1993 and Gothenburg, Sweden, in 1995.  He has also provided play-by-play commentary for the World Cup of gymnastics and the World Speed Skating Championships.

Jones partnered with play-by-play voice Wes Durham to call games on ACC Network for several seasons and prior to joining ESPN, Jones covered ACC football for Raycom during the 2015 and 2016 seasons. Jones also currently serves as an analyst for college baseball games on ACC Network and ESPN’s UFL coverage.

Jones was a four-year starter for the Georgia Tech from 2008-11 and served as team captain his senior season. As a speedy slotback, Jones was a key figure in the Yellow Jackets’ high-powered rushing attack that broke numerous long-standing school records on the way to defeating Clemson in the 2009 ACC Championship Game. While on The Flats, Jones set a Georgia Tech record for career starts (52) while amassing the highest yards-per-carry average in GT history (7.6). He is forever etched in Georgia Tech football lore for rushing for 212 yards in an upset win at arch-rival Georgia in 2008. Off the field, Jones was a three-time All-ACC Academic Football Team honoree. He graduated with a bachelor’s in business administration (2010) and earned his MBA in 2013.

Quint Kessenich began at ESPN in 1993 covering men’s lacrosse. He currently serves as a lacrosse analyst and college sports reporter, working on football and wrestling.

Kessenich works on television’s most extensive college lacrosse package – featuring regular-season action and the NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse Championship, an event he has covered since 1995. He also works as an analyst and reporter on Premier League Lacrosse games across ESPN platforms.

Under his reporting duties, Kessenich covers college football and the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championship.

Since joining the company, his responsibilities expanded to high school football, men’s college basketball and various NCAA championships, including track and field, and soccer. He established the ESPNU Lacrosse Podcast in 2010, and it quickly became the industry leader for lacrosse news. He was also a frequent contributor to ESPNU.com. In addition, he has covered the Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont Stakes for ESPN and ABC.

Kessenich contributes to Inside Lacrosse Magazine, and is actively involved with “First Stick”, a non-profit that introduces urban schools and athletes to the game of lacrosse. He was also a columnist on college lacrosse for the Baltimore Sun.

Kessenich played one year of professional lacrosse with the Baltimore Thunder in 1999, and at the amateur level for the storied Mount Washington Lacrosse Club.

A four-time all-American goalkeeper, Kessenich was a two-time winner of the Ensign C. Markland Kelly, Jr. Award as the nation’s best goalie. A 1990 graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Kessenich remained in Baltimore where he has been an assistant lacrosse coach at the Boys’ Latin School, a perennial national power since 1992.

He is a member of the Johns Hopkins Athletic Hall of Fame, as well as the Long Island Chapter and the Baltimore Chapter of USA Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
