Following Nate Sheppard throwing touchdown to Brody Keefe helping Duke knock-off Virginia 19-16 Friday night in Charlottesville Duke starting quarterback Walker Eget shared his thoughts on Nate Sheppard throwing touchdown by saying What can Nate not do to be honest . He can run he can throw he can catch . Even if you think you can stop him you still can’t stop him. He can do anything.
Though,
Walker Eget wasn’t the only one to share his thoughts on Duke knocking off Virginia 19-16 as Head Coach Manny Diaz did as well by saying tonight our guys found a way to finish . When Virginia goes kicks a field goal it would be easy to say oh here it is again . For our offense to go 75 yards for touchdown then our defense to go out and seal it with an interception is just the definition of a great team ball. Great to finish . Need this big for our confidence going forward . Everybody we play , it’s probably going to be like this too . It’s just a way of life in our conference and I’m just glad our guys found a way to finish tonight . About the double pass? Great call a great time . Sometimes you need things like that in those type of situations because Virginia their defense is outstanding . They make it hard on you for so many reasons .
