Duke Is Getting Another Crack At Tennessee Because They're Opposing Tennessee Sunday Night In Knoxville In Exhibition Game
On March 18, 2023 Duke was eliminated in the second round of the NCAA Tournament in Orlando Florida at the home of NBA’s Orlando Magic because they lost 65-52 to Tennessee.
At the time Tennessee was older, tougher, stronger!
Duke was hit in the face early , literally early on then ended the first half with some of the most unproductive play of the season including a scoring drought of nearly four consecutive misses from the field possession after possession in which they showed their youth . Three times in the second half Duke cut Tennessee ‘s lead to four points but never during the final nine minutes and never to fewer then four while Tennessee who was older , tougher stronger did what they wanted.

Tom Hart is currently a play-by-play commentator for SEC Network. In fall 2017, he joined SEC Saturday Night, the franchise that features SEC Network’s marquee college football game each Saturday, alongside analyst Jordan Rodgers and field analyst Cole Cubelic. Jimmy Dykes first joined ESPN at the start of the 1995-96 men’s college basketball season as a game and studio analyst, returning to the company after serving as the women’s head basketball coach at the University of Arkansas from 2014-2017. He led the Razorbacks to one NCAA tournament appearance and finished with an overall record of 43-49.
Prior to his career with ESPN, Dykes was a 3-year letterman at the University of Arkansas, playing for the legendary coach Eddie Sutton. Following his playing days, he then went on to serve as a graduate assistant coach under Sutton at Arkansas.
Dykes’ coaching career includes a number of assistant coaching stints at Sacramento State , Appalachian State, University of Kentucky, Arkansas-Little Rock and Oklahoma State. He then spent three years as an NBA scout for the Seattle Sonics prior to joining ESPN in the mid 90s.
He is the author of the powerful book titled, “The Film Doesn’t Lie” ,published in 2020, which provokes readers to take an honest, in-depth look at their own life and to live with genuine passion and bold determination.
