Kansas City Chiefs is a member of the AFC West advanced to Super Bowl LIX with 32-29 win over Buffalo Bills on Sunday January 26. 2025. In Kansas City’s 32-29 win in the AFC Championship game Kansas City scored four touchdowns. In the 1st quarter Kareem Hunt ran for 12 yard rushing touchdown , Harrison Butker kicked made extra point putting Kansas City up 7-0 . In the 2nd quarter Kansas scored pair of touchdowns as Xavier Worthy caught 11 yard pass from Patrick Mahomes , Harrison Butker kicked, made extra point giving Kansas City a 14-10 lead before Patrick Mahomes extended Kansas City lead with yard rushing touchdown extending Kansas City lead over Buffalo this time 21-10. In the 4th quarter Kansas City scored a touchdown, kicked a field goal as Patrick Mahomes ran for 10 yards touchdown. Patrick Mahomes completed pass to Justin Watson to complete 2 point conversion to extend Kansas lead 29-22 before Buffalo answered, responded with touchdown of their own as Curtis Samuel caught 4 yard pass from Josh Allen . Tyler Bass kicked, made extra point to tie the game up at 29. Before Kansas City got the last laugh and advanced to Super Bowl as Harrison Butker kicked, made 35 yard field goal.
